Rumor Has It Pt. I- follow up
The new owner of WSOY is not going to take the station off the air. Instead there will be a format change. The Tom Joyner Morning Show and the Michael Baisden Show will be taken off the station format. The reason for elimination the two programs are they are viewed as being racially divisive. The new owner has stated it is difficult to sell advertising spots because of views expressed on the Joyner and Baisden Show. The station will play more music during the day and concentrate on ad sales. What say you?

My biggest issue is not with the people (both black and white...let be clear here - both have bad credit history issues) who thought they saw a "golden egg" of an opportunity and full forcefully went crazy in their purchases because I believe some of those people will pay their bills while others who's desire is to know nothing but "FREE" will not realize the impact of their actions until the legal system becomes involved and they realize that even "FREE" is bought with a price.
MY BIGGEST ISSUE IS WITH SEARS/KMART!! THE SMELL OF THIS GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY HAS THE SMELL OF AN ROTTEN EGG. WHAT WAS THEY THINKING!! YOU KNOW THEY HAD TO HAVE A REASON TO GIVE CARDS WITHOUT CREDIT CHECK WITH LIMITS OF $1,000 TO FROM WHAT I HEARD, $10,000. WHO DOES THAT...RENT A CENTER?? LET'S EXPLORE THAT...

Which station, and which shows are you talking about, Cesaer? What kind of format are they?
It is highly likely that I have never heard them if they are run during the 9-11, or 11-2pm, or 2-5pm time slots, which in my case, if I'm listening to radio, are Glen Beck, Rush, and Hannity.

I'm sorry for not being clear on this thread. My intent was to follow-up on the first "Rumor has it" post. The radio station I am referring to is Magic 1050. There has been a lot of speculation concerning the future of this station and its format.
Our distinguished colleague MCR assumed I was speaking of Y103. The listeners of Y103 received a big shock when their format changed to Christmas music 24/7. However I did not hear any community outrage over this format change. I did hear that an employee was fired for not complying with the change and sabotaging company equipment though.
