Decatur has a new mayor
Michael Carrigan will be the new mayor of Decatur. Carrigan will serve 10 months as mayor and that will lead to the next municipal general election. Carrigan has stated he will not run for mayor and will retire from holding public office in Decatur. That then leaves a vacancy on the city council. If you are interested in serving on the city council submit a letter of interest to Celeste Harris.

The newly crowned mayors reign will be very short and very forgetable. You can screw to much up in 10 months
